A Program for Assistance "From Hands to Hands"
Many of you have children who have grown very rapidly and, accordingly, they have quickly grown out of their clothes. Your children have grown up and they left a lot of things, not only clothes, shoes, but also children's books, bicycles, toys, tables, strollers and beds ... All of these things occupy a considerable space in wardrobes, cabinets or closets. Each of you who have brought up or is raising a child have got many of such things. In general, these are the things that you no longer need and your children did not use them for a long time. But these things can be given a "second life" by sharing with those who truly need them. Low-income families will have an easy way to save money on children's clothing. You will also have the opportunity to provide free space in your wardrobes and shelves for something new. If you have no one to "inherit" the clothes or other things of your grown up children, then please hurry to do good – we are kindly begging you to give them to the needy, low-income, poor and large families, and to mothers who are raising their children alone.
So, on one hand, we have parents who have many unwanted, but good and decent things for children. And, on the other hand, we have mothers and fathers who do not always have the opportunity to buy everything they need for their child. We suggest getting these parents acquainted, and eventually everyone will be happy – some parents will get rid of unnecessary things, and other parents will get the necessary things they need for their children and they will be able to save their money. For some parents, such a gift will help to economize the family budget, and some parents will be able to make free space in the wardrobes and closets.
If you have unwanted children’s clothes or other things, and you want to give them as gifts, you can contact us by sending an email to us: fond-speranta@mal.ru with the suggestion of what things you wish to give or what kind of help you want to offer. Please write the description of the children's clothes or things that you want to give. Also indicate your location and contact phone number. We will connect you directly with the family who needs your help and you yourself will give the things From Hands to Hands. If you want to get the children’s clothes and other things, you also need to send us an e-mail to fond-speranta@mal.ru, stating in the letter the gender and the age, what exactly he/she needs, your address and telephone number. All applications from both sides will only be accepted by e-mail (with the theme "From Hands to Hands").
On the bases of your e-mails, we will create a database of those who are willing to donate children’s clothes, shoes, toys, books, strollers, beds, etc. And a database of those, who need children’s clothes. These databases will be created in order to make it possible to give the children's clothes directly to the needy families –to the hands of those who really need them. By this way, you do not need to look exactly for where and what to take. The clothes and other things are transmitted and received free of charge. The program operates on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Some people think that large families or low-income families will be grateful for anything, and therefore they act on the principle: it’s a pity to throw away – I better give to the poor. In fact, before you give unnecessary children’s 'legacy', everything must be carefully reviewed and sorted. If anything is hopelessly worn out, heavily spoilt or absolutely damaged, then it is better to put it into a plastic bag and throw it into a trash (garbage) can. If you are in doubt, whether to give it or to throw it on purpose. Just throw it away. But a part of the clothing is quite suitable for further use as intended, because children grow up so fast, that their clothes do not have time to tear, scuff or burn in the sun and their shoes do not wear out.
Suggestions for the children's clothes and other things that you have decided to donate: the clothes, shoes, toys need to prepared. It is necessary to give the things "a good look": you should wash and iron (press) the clothes. Also check the condition of the buttons, snaps and zips.
After checking your wardrobes and closets and removing the unnecessary but still very good clothes and other things for children, you can help others! You can make the life of another child a bit more comfortable or convenient. It's very simple. Please remember that unnecessary things for you, unused clothe by your children or a non favorite thing or toy may be a thing of instant necessity for disadvantaged children. Share with them the kindness and warmth!
