The Permit into Life
Each year, the pace of development of market relations are accelerated, respectively increasing competition, which ultimately leads to a weakening of social protection of many groups. Guidance problem of orphans in our time is becoming increasingly important. Often, children's homes are not ready for independent living outside their institution, they are left alone with a complete stranger outside world. Young people are experiencing serious difficulties, can not cope with social adjustment for lack of life skills. Statistics show that less than half of them successfully overcome these difficulties and have the opportunity for a normal and happy life. Very sad fate of the rest: the lack of popular specialties, unemployment, alcoholism, drug addiction, problems with the law. Timely acquisition of skills and the creation of the necessary conditions and opportunities in orphanages - will give pupils the chance to childcare place in their future lives and become productive members of society.
National Children's Foundation "Speranţa" gives a good start to the new project "The Permit into Life", which aims to vocational guidance for orphans and children left without parental care, to address the problems of self-realization, socialization and vocational guidance of pupils in the formation of their systems of knowledge, skills and skills of the various occupations and the labor market. The project also includes those teenagers, who for various reasons have found themselves in difficult situations, children from disadvantaged, large, low-income families. This project is primarily intended to give these children the tools that can then be applied to real-search and career choices. Find yourself in the world of professions means to be able to earn with dignity, to feel people need to reveal their fullest capacity, deserve honor and respect. Objective of the project - not to impose a ready-made solution to teenagers, but to help them to decide for themselves. Choosing a profession, children choose not only a way of making money, but also the social environment, lifestyle.
"The Permit into Life" is aimed at the following objectives:
formation of society's willingness to interact with children from children's homes and boarding schools;
familiarity with the world of professions students, increasing orientation in the world of professional work, assistance in choosing a career in the interests, aptitudes, individual characteristics and needs;
professional counseling - helping teenagers in professional self-determination, and make recommendations on possible areas of professional activities that best fit their psychological, physiological, physiological needs, to help the child develop a desire to realize itself in the chosen profession;
raising awareness of the forms of training in various educational institutions of the country, receiving an incentive and motivation to pursue higher education and vocational training in the future;
the formation of children's knowledge of the social significance of labor;
Project activities:
implementation of information, training and other career guidance activities for orphans in institutions of popular conversations with experts of different professions;
organization and conduct professional tours, practices in enterprises and institutions;
providing more information about the occupations on the labor market of the city, the country, the future development of the chosen profession graduates of child care;
organization of psychologists with children, to identify skills to a particular activity;
presentation of the special schools and colleges, the organization "open days" in schools, meeting with teachers;
business circles, studios, classrooms, career counseling, workshops, meetings with representatives of various professions;
lectures and training courses, seminars, workshops, trainings, discussions, round tables, gaming exercises;
attract employers to work on vocational guidance of children;
coverage of the project activities in the media, publications and dissemination of information through the website fund.
In this project, we suggest organizing a set of measures aimed at creating a training adolescents, providing sufficient information about the profession, enabling young people "try on" a profession. Master-classes with successful people of Moldova, on the example of successful companies to show the work of modern business (through children on excursions enterprise), providing the opportunity to try a teenager myself in the profession (practice and courses) and thus help determine the choice of future profession. The project will come to pupils, students of colleges and universities, and talks about the different professions. In addition, teens will learn from professionals in various fields.
What we need for the project: to work in the project, we plan to involve psychologists, specialists in various fields, experts in the design and implementation of career guidance activities. Great assistance can have representatives of various professions, their professional experience, which will introduce children to the characteristics of the trade, with the necessary knowledge and skills required by the profession. Requires the help of experts to develop training plans for career counseling. Waiting for your suggestions, offering not only theoretical knowledge about the profession, but also give children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the profession and practice to learn what it is to be, for example, cook, hairdresser, seamstress or electrician.
